Zlatne grede

ZLATNE GREDE 17

A single-story house with a facade that was altered during one of the renovations. The house’s layout is in the shape of the Cyrillic letter “Г”. It was built for Arkadije Radosavljević according to a design by Laurencijus Fojhtner in 1852. The adaptation significantly changed the spatial organization. At the end of the 20th century, the attic space was repurposed for residential use, and the roof structure was transformed into a low mansard. The basement is vaulted with a semi-circular vault. The carriage passage is located at the left corner, and the wooden wings have been removed. To the right is a row of four windows with shallow geometric plaster decorations. In the upper zone, there is a profiled eave and a series of rectangular fields along the attic parapet. The courtyard facade is smoothly plastered. The porch is enclosed with a masonry parapet and glazed with four-wing windows. The roof is covered with tegola.
