PAŠIĆEVA 1

A one-story house, built in the style of classicism, with a non-pavilion rectangular base and an atrium courtyard in the center, at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries.
In Buna, it most likely burned down, then was rebuilt in the Great Reconstruction at the beginning of the 1850s. The house was renovated several times, and in 1925 it was designed by Bela Steiger.
At the end of the 20th century, during the renovation of the basement for a bar, the floor level was lowered by 1 meter. A septic tank was also dug, where the perimeter wall of the previous house, probably from the beginning of the 18th century, was followed to a depth of 7 meters.
The street facade of the house has 3 vertical openings, with the entrance along the left end.
The windows on the first floor are separated by shallow pilasters with floral capitals, which extend to the attic cornice. The windows are surmounted by an atypical decorative element.
The ends of the facade are emphasized with imitation of cavader in two sizes.
The facade fabric is horizontally grouted on the ground floor, and plastered flat on the first floor.
The atrium courtyard is surrounded by a communication balcony on profiled stone brackets, with a simple wrought iron fence.

On Sauter’s 1889 plan, this house is marked on what was then lot number 1796.

In the photo taken around 1900, we can clearly see that the facade of this house has not been significantly changed.

In the photo taken in 1992, we see the street line from a similar angle as in the previous photo taken around 1900.
